Our Bariatric program, headed by specialty-trained and board certified surgeon  oincludes three full-time surgeons.  Louis G. Fares, II, MD, FACS pioneered the procedure at St Francis Medical Center and chairs the Department of Surgery.
Our coordinator and nutritionist, John Bock, MS, RD,CNSD  is an instrumental component to the comprehensive program that we offer.  Nurses, who take care of our patients
also have a singular interest in the provision of excellent bariatric care.  The team is dedicated to the improvement of lifestyle and health of overweight people through weight loss from surgery, whileirecognizing the contributions of mental health, nutritional support and physical activity to this process.  We work together to provide you with safe quality care with genuine respect, passionate caring and a joyful spirit.
