The Mission of the Center for Advanced Weight Loss is to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of the morbidly obese.

    We believe that obesity is a disease process that robs the obese person of their health and their dignity and we understand that obesity is not a personal flaw.

   We are dedicated to helping patients with the medical disease of obesity or gain control of their health and their life.

   We are dedicated to providing the best medical and surgical care possible
for every obese patient who comes through our doors and asks for help with this difficult problem.

   We promise to show each person the way to success and health by using diet, exercise and surgery to help them regain their life.

   We promise to treat every person with dignity and respect.

   We will be honest in providing all patients with true and factual information.

   We will give every obese patient who comes to us our full attention as well as encouragement, compassion, patience and sympathy.

   We are here to help the obese patient.  We will show them the way to  
become healthier, more independent people, free of the disease of obesity and the other illnesses that obesity brings with it.

   To this mission we promise every patient who comes through our doors that each employee, physician and health care provider associated with the St Francis Medical Center will dedicate their full efforts everyday.
